This quiet retreat was the perfect cosy getaway for us to wind down and relax. The well-equipped cottage had everything we needed, including an electric log fire that gave it a homely feel. The location, off the beaten track, allowed for long walks and stunning night sky views. The owner was incredibly helpful when we needed to change our arrival date, and having a nice garden and parking space was a bonus. Definitely a great option for couples looking for some peace and silence.

Free wifi was great, I could keep up with my posh friends on social media. The garden and terrace were lovely, even though I don't go outside much.
Oh, there were daddy long legs around, how thrilling! But thankfully they were harmless.

The location of the hotel was excellent, with easy access to the village, lake, and beach. the gardens were beautiful and well-maintained, providing a peaceful atmosphere. the shower room was top-notch, offering a great experience. the cottage was clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The directions for parking could have been clearer, and the key safe being located at the back garden gate was a bit inconvenient. it would have been nice to have a larger TV in the cottage.
